Stick 'Em Up Cute Kitten!

How funny is this? The other night I had a dream that I was robbing a bank.... But when I entered the bank, all the tellers were cute little kittens.... And then, I realized that I had forgotten my gun, so I had to tickle them.... Then I found this video....

Can You Guess This TV Theme? #24 - Answer

Two weeks in a row, two shows about odd couple adoptions.... I thought this theme was especially difficult to guess.....

Emmanuel Lewis is 'Webster', a young child adopted by Katherine and George Papadapolis, played by Susan Clark and Alex Karras.

Webster was orphaned after his parents, a former NFL teammate of George Papadapolis and his wife, were in a tragic car crash.... Webster is adopted soon after the loss of his parents, and everybody quickly learns lessons about love, life and laughter....

Again.... There's not too many interesting tidbits about 'Webster' floating around....

Did you know that Susan Clark and Alex Karras were married in real life? Or that Corin Nemec, who went on to play Parker Lewis in 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose', played young Nicky Papadapolis?

My favorite.... A little known comedian, he goes by the name of Jerry Seinfeld, was fired as a writer for 'Webster' after only a few episodes.

Barack Obama Could Be A Wide Receiver

This commercial that aired during the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers game on Thanksgiving for the United We Serve program, NFL and the United States proved something..... Barack Obama can't throw a baseball, but he sure can catch a football.... Wait a second, that was totally a forward lateral Mr. President....

Can You Guess This TV Theme? #24

Good morning everybody! I trust you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Here it is again..... Can you guess this TV theme?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I just watched the movie 'Food, Inc.', and I'm horrified by the condition and treatment of the animals kept for our consumption.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to demolish the turkey today.... Because it is delicious.....

Anyway, here's the PETA commercial that was banned from the major networks this Thanksgiving....

Bank Robber Eats Evidence In Front Of Police

A suspected bank robber, John Ford, was caught soon after he allegedly committed his crime. A bank teller had reported that the robber presented a 'hold-up' note, but did not produce a gun. Twinsburg police found cash and a gun in Ford's car, however, they did not find the note!

Police were baffled, until they saw the dashboard camera footage of officers searching the suspect for weapons. As the officers are emptying the suspect's pockets, they put a folded note on the hood of the car, and the suspect proceeds to eat the note. Now, the police can only wonder if the piece of paper contained the 'hold-up' note.

Don't Tread On Me

Here's another hilarious/scary video from Again, two guys, Chase Whiteside (interviews) and Erick Stoll (Camera), interviewed 'real Americans' who were out at the Tea Party protests in Washington D.C.

I know it's 9 minutes long.... But it's a fantastic view of what people, outside of my little bubble, are thinking.

I love the guy that's holding the 'Joe Wilson For President' sign who ends up telling the interviewer that he's not supporting Joe Wilson for President.... Ooooh, and the lady that's talking about Barack Obama wanting to create a 'citizen army'! Oh, just go watch the video!

These guys have put together six other videos, and all of them are very well done.... The videos about equality in Maine, and John Boenher and health care are particularly well done.... Go check them out!

Sarah Palin Book Signing Brings Out The 'Real Americans'!

Two guys, Chase Whiteside (interviews) and Erick Stoll (Camera), from, stood outside a 'Borders' book store in Columbus, Ohio to interview customers waiting in line for Sarah Palin to sign their copies of her new book titled 'Going Rogue'. There is quite a disturbing trend.... These people are amazing! Seriously, watch the whole video.... The Steeler's fan is my favorite!

By the way, here's a tip..... If someone asks you to give your views about any item that you support, and you know nothing about that item that you support.... Don't stand there and talk, and talk, and talk, and talk..... I wish he would have tapped each person on the forehead with the microphone after they stopped talking!

These guys have put together six other videos, and all of them are very well done.... Go check them out!

Skateboarding Dog Plays Tony Hawk Game

What's better than a skateboarding dog? A dog that beats a skateboarding video game by riding a wireless skateboard controller.... Tony Hawk's new skateboarding video game, 'RIDE', is played by riding a wireless skateboard..... This bulldog destroys the game.... Watch his spin move!

Can You Guess This TV Theme? #23 - Answer

This was not an easy television theme to recognize! Soleil Moon Frye plays a young Penelope 'Punky' Brewster with a penchant for bright multi-colored clothing, abandoned by her mother in a Chicago shopping mall with her dog Brandon. Eventually, she's taken in and adopted by good old Henry Warnimont, played by George Gaynes.

During the show's four season run, the odd couple taught each other about love and life.

Did you know that 'Brandon the Dog', Punky Brewster's trusty sidekick, was in every episode, and was played by the same dog in all four seasons of the show? That's it.... That's as good as the trivia gets.... Do you have any fun facts about Punky Brewster? Oh wait! Chico Debarge and Buzz Aldrin both made appearances on the show....

I'm sure I could go on for hours about Punky's crush on hunky Mark-Paul Gosselaar (pre Zack Morris) for an entire episode, or Candace Cameron Bure's (pre DJ Tanner) one episode arc as 'The Girl On The Milk Carton' who has been kidnapped by her father....

Face Off With A Leopard Seal

I love animal stories like this.... This National Geographic photographer, Paul Nicklen, wanted to get picture of leopard seals in the Arctic waters. By all accounts, the leopard seal is one of the deadliest predators in the Arctic, with a jaw that can open approximately 160 degrees and razor sharp teeth. What could have been a savage and devastating moment, ended up being a moment of compassion and sympathy.

Call your friends! Tell your neighbors! It's back! 'Can You Guess This TV Theme' is going to be a Friday feature here at 'I Think It's Interesting'. You'll get a new theme song from a television show every Friday.... So here's the first theme to resurrect the game, can you guess this TV theme?

Did you see see the Sarah Palin interview on Oprah? It was very revealing.... Here's a short recap that Conan O'Brien put together for his show.... I was surprised how much Oprah was able to get Sarah Palin to open up!

Your Mattress Is Filthy

Humans are dirty and filthy animals.... Did you know that after 8 years, your mattress doubles in weight? According to Larry Miller (the guy that's killing Irwin, and the guy that promises you that Sit'N'Sleep will beat the anyone's advertised price or your mattress is FREEEEEE!) from Sit'N'Sleep Mattress Company, in 8 years, your mattress collects so much sweat, oils from your skin and dust mites, that it DOUBLES in weight!

Can this be true? This has to be a shameless ploy to help sell mattresses.... Have you ever carried a mattress? How much do they weigh? 20 to 40 pounds? Is my mattress now 40 to 80 pounds? BLECH! I am officially disgusted....

Sit'N'Sleep is a Southern California company, so I'm assuming that not every person that reads my blog has seen this commercial, so here's the whole disgusting thing....

A gentleman, who goes by the name of Fagottron, takes video clips and sounds from movies and adds some synthesizers, drums and bass to make amazing remix videos. He uses movies like Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter, Mary Poppins and more....

I am absolutely mesmerized by this video.... Hook was a good movie and this guy did and amazing job with this remix.... Watch this and let it melt your mind. RUFIOOOOOOOO!!!!!

By the way.... If you click on the banner below, it will take you directly to his YouTube channel where you can see the rest of his videos.

Date Night

Have you heard of this 'Date Night' movie? It looks fantastic! It stars Steve Carell and Tina Fey as two parents who opt to go out for a fancy date night, but end up being chased around town by two murderous gangsters because of a case of mistaken identity. Hilarity does ensue.....

There are a lot of other big names in this movie, including Mila Kunis, James Franco, Mark Wahlberg, Olivia Munn, Kristin Wiig and many more! I hope they didn't put all of the really funny moments in the trailer.... Speaking of which, look what I have for you....

Invisible Cage

Have you seen the recent news article about the new exhibit at the Werribee Range Zoo in Melbourne, Australia?

Zoo visitors sit in the jeep and meat is tossed onto the hood.....

The lion jumps on the hood to get his meal....

Right in front of the visitors.....

The hood is separated from the rest of the jeep by reinforced glass.... They call it an invisible cage. So.... Are the lions in the invisible cage? Or are the visitors really the ones trapped in an invisible cage..... Deep thoughts.

Happy Veterans Day!

Well, it's Veterans Day, and I've been looking for heartwarming military homecoming videos to help us remember our veterans.... Again, I have trouble leaving my kids to go to work, I can't imagine the sacrifice of leaving them for a year or more to put my life on the line for my country....

Do you remember the recent blog post about the daughter who wouldn't let go of her father's hand before his deployment? That's it.... I just wanted to know if you remember.... Click the link to see that heartwarming story....

Anyway, here are my top 3 amazingly touching homecoming videos....

Thank you to all the veterans, past and present, who proudly protect our country!

My Favorite Sesame Street Videos - Update

Ok.... Here's the deal.... That song is still in my head. So, my theory is: You listen to it, get the song stuck in your head, and maybe it'll get out of my head.

Anyway, I also added three awesome vintage songs from Sesame Street.... I know that the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street was yesterday.... But the original 'Mahna Mahna' song, the "Alligator King' song and the 'I Don't Want To Live On The Moon' song? I know what you're thinking, and you are welcome.

Back To Work

Two weeks. I've been off work for two glorious weeks since Lucy's been born. Now I'm back at work. Don't get me wrong, I like my work. I'm very good at doing my work. I just enjoy being at home too much....

Colleen says she actually enjoys having me around, but that's debatable. Is there any way to get paid for staying home and taking care of my children?

Noah and I went miniature golfing again this weekend. In the three times we've played (36 holes each time), I got my first and only hole in one this weekend. Of course, I jumped up and down and yelled "Take that 4 year old! BOOM!" Ok, I didn't really say or do that, but he quickly responded with his own hole in one and I went home with my tail between my legs once again.

Anyway, I'm going to get ready for another day at work.... By the way, there are some new posts over at Noah's Notables, and more will be posted tomorrow, if you're interested....

Quantity and Quality

Woo hoo! One of my YouTube videos has received 100,000 views! And over 250 comments!

However, I don't think that video is half as good as this one.... But this video one has around 250 views....

Finally, here's a question for all of you to ignore (funny sarcasm).... Some YouTube videos (not mine) contain Google advertisement at the bottom of the videos. Do these ads annoy you? They take up about a quarter of the video screen, and you have to minimize the ad if you want to get rid of it.... These ads drive me crazy, what do you think?

What Would Obama Wear?

If you're like me, and have to wonder whether or not to wear your snow coat or shorts to work in the morning, you're in luck.... President Barack Obama will tell you what to do....

I don't really have to wonder.... It's 70 degrees outside today.... It's going to be 70 degrees outside tomorrow.... And on Thanksgiving.... And on Christmas.... It might be 69 degrees on New Year's Day, but you'll hear about the huge weather dip in Southern California on the news....

Anyway, here's a fun new site where you can enter your zip code and Barack Obama will tell you what you'll be comfortable wearing today.... Unfortunately, when you enter my zip code, he's always wearing the same thing.... Just click on the picture of Obama below to find out what to wear.

In Soviet Russia House Wares You!

My grandmother came over yesterday, and she mentioned the huge alcohol warehouse crash of 2009.... A warehouse employee driving a forklift brought the entire warehouse down in seconds when he drove into one of the stock structures. The accident caused approximately $150,000 in damage! The driver suffered a minor leg injury, lost his job and is now permanently tattooed as an 'Epic Fail' on the internets....

The domino effect is amazing.... Maybe they should have fired the warehouse designer for putting the shelves so close together....

Here's the video with some 'Pirates of the Caribbean'-ish music....

Best Prank Ever!

Why are the Japanese so awesome? I'm all for pulling pranks, but I am small time compared to the Japanese. I'm a 'cockroach under the bagel' kind of guy....

This is a video of a Japanese television show, where a couple of guy are set up in a meeting where the men they're meeting with are shot and killed by sniper fire. The men who are set up proceed to scurry and hide, until a 'police officer' runs into the room to protect help protect them. The 'police officer' eventually reveals that the whole thing was a prank and everyone has a good laugh and a change of pants....

The Golden Age

Nobody knew a better Halloween song, huh? I was guessing somebody might have mentioned 'Monster Mash'. They would've been wrong, but I thought it might have been thrown into the mix....

Anyway, I'll be the first one to admit that having a new baby (a second child) has left me a little strapped for time lately, and I'm a little late to the game with this video, but I'm really impressed by mashup videos people make.... And this video is pure radness.... I can only imagine this person spent his entire life making this video.... How did they find the 50 to 75 video clips that fit perfectly to make an entire song? I sure wish I was creative.
