Gulf War Game Boy

Here's another vintage Nintendo item! This Nintendo Game Boy belonged to a soldier in the 1990 - 1991 Gulf War. The Game Boy was damaged when the barracks the soldiers were staying in were bombed. The damaged Game Boy still works and is running Tetris while perpetually plugged in at the Nintendo World Store in New York City!

  4. I do want to point out that Nintendo Power featured this in a story back in the early 90's. The thing has a new screen, as the original's was shattered to bits. When technicians opened it, and looked at it, they thought it may still be functional, so they replaced the screen, and found it still worked! Long live Game Boy's components!
