Tea Baggers And The Circus

Here's another hilarious/scary video from NewLeftMedia.com.... Again, two guys, Chase Whiteside (interviews) and Erick Stoll (Camera), interviewed tea baggers who were protesting the new health care policies in Washington D.C.

It's really amazing to watch Mr. Whiteside ask a protester a simple question, and then watch the blank look on the protester's face when asked to simply clarify his opinion.

If you enjoyed this video, I posted two others.... You can watch their interviews at the Tea Party protests by clicking here and you can see their interviews with people waiting for Sarah Palin to sign her new book (my favorite video) by clicking here.....

Anyway, enjoy the video!

  2. Too funny.

The video is very reflective of American (and world) culture in general though. However, I do have to say that I doubt the average citizen in favor of the current health care reform bill would be much more knowledgeable about the subject. I personally only know about the bill the small snippets of information I've had time to glean from the news. I've considered going online to read the text of the bill, but I don't have any real power for or against it; so I find better things to do with my time, like sleeping.

  4. Ha ha! Jesse's comment was too funny! Everyone is bitching about the health care reform on FB. Personally, I'm torn. As soon as I think it's a great thing, I get nervous and think it's not a great thing. I hate when people I like get political and I don't agree with them. It makes me wonder why and how we're friends :(

  5. Heh. That was both funny and scary. The scariest parts? If you don't believe in God, you have no rights AND that people with no insurance should get health care from religious institutions. *rolls eyes*

My friend's husband is a Capitol police officer and was working the protests a few days ago. Capitol police had to pull all their black officers from the teabaggers because of racist threats. So the black officers (including my friends husband) were sent to the periphery or to protect the handful of pro-reform marchers.

  6. I think it's just really sad when both sides revert to tranch warfare politics. I really like the idea of this new coffee party that promotes dialogue and bipartisanship :)

  7. It is embarassing to watch these totally "informed" people - HA!

I used to watch a local political show regularly and found it som uch fun just watch and listen to all of the mumbo jumbo.

My dad is hugely political, but he had to stop watching his shows because his heart would race so much!!

I can't wait to see the sarah palin one now! She's a pip.

  8. It's videos like this that make me go, "Ahhh, THERE is the difference between my IQ and average." ;-)

I just don't understand being SO against something that you don't really know anything about? I mean, I have things that I'm extremely FOR or AGAINST, but I've done the research and know what I'm talking about and can always back up my opinion... :-D

  11. OMG, I was LOLing the whole way through. Looks like all these people have been "smokin' the funny stuff," except the young interviewer. He's great. Further proof that America's filled with idiots.
    Cheers,

  14. I thought this was going to be about a whole other teabagging but the video was funny! Love how he went further into the questions and they didn't know what to say.
