A Brief History Of Pretty Much Everything

I was searching through the archives of Copyboy's blog, 'Not Worth Mentioning', and I came across his 'Doodles Drawn Instead Of Paying Attention At Work'....

His doodles reminded me of a video that I had seen a while back.... Jamie Bell, a college student in the UK, created a flip book/stop motion animation doodle film titled 'A Brief History Of Pretty Much Everything'....

The final product consists of approximately 2,100 pages from 50 books of paper, and was created over a period of three weeks.... The project was used as his final project for his art class, and you'll be happy to know that Jamie got an 'A' on his project.....

Check it out.... He put more work into this one project than I put into all my years in college....

  5. @Ian - It's an awesome video..... From the big bang to space travel in 3 minutes! All done in ballpoint pen.... It's ridiculously simple, yet amazingly complete....

    @Samantha - I ask myself that same question every day.....

    @Bossy Betty - Think you can get a finished product in three weeks? lol

    @Copyboy - No problem! Yeah, the guy is super talented!

  8. That's so cool. I never noticed that before on his blog... For a second I thought you were talking about hot Jamie from Billy Elliot - the kid I wrote about a week or so ago. Ha ha!

  16. @Ally - No, not Billy Elliot.... Who knows though.... Ballet might be his major....

    @Margg. - My doodles don't look like that either.... However, they are always choreographed to classical music....

    @adrienzgirl - I know, right!?!?! Watching it kind of makes me sad to know that I'll never be that talented.... lol

    @bbcd mama - He wrote that he received full marks.... If his other projects in the class were 1/10th as good as this one, I'm sure he got an A....

    @Pam - Hope your daughter likes it! Although, it's not as good as your photography!

    @Pat Tillett - lol.... When, I read that comment, I started looking around, thinking to myself 'Oh! A squirrel? Where? I love squirrels!'

    @Jerry - Thanks man!

    @Eternally Distracted - I'll work on it with you! That was we can be done in 2997!

    @Powdered Toast Man - He doesn't have a blog.... But you can see other stuff he's done on YouTube. Just search for Displeased Eskimo - That's his youtube name....
